Flat Earth
2014
Wood, chairs, photographic print
3.5 x 1.8m

Flat Earth contains the horizon line of Shrewsbury as viewed from the Flaxmill Maltings, the world’s first cast iron framed building. Part of the sculpture was laser cut; an equivalent modern day construction technology. Built using recycled kitchen chairs the piece brings together domestic interior space with a more distant landscape.
